Urban residency restriction will be cancelled in Shandong Province.

　　Shandong Province Government Performance Report puts forwards that urbanization rate of the province’s resident population and registered population has reached 62% and 51.5%, 10% gap, exhibiting that nearly 10 million migrants have failed to settled in cities or towns. So this year Shandong will speed up the citizenization of the migrant population , cancel the urban residency restriction and encourage rural migrant workers and their families who are able to find steady jobs or live in the cities of towns to settle in urban areas. Besides, holders of residence permit will be gradually brought into the management of registered population , making Ji’nan and Qingdao metropolitan area bigger and stronger and moderately increasing the supply of land for construction in small and medium-sized cities with large population .
