Ji’nan plans to build up a new national central city in 2025.

On March 31st The Ji’nan City Development Strategic Plan that gets much social attention was unveiled and asked for the social suggestions. Ji’nan is planned to build up a new national central city in 2025 with the population of 12 million permanent residents, including 9.6 million urban residents, urbanization rate of 80% ,according to the development plan. Ji’nan- Zhengzhou, Ji’nan-Laiwu, Ji’nan-Binzhou, Laiwu-Linyi high-speed railways are built up and Ji’nan- Tai’an high-speed magnetic levitation demonstration line and the 2nd phase of rail transit No. 3 line and the 1st phase of No. 4,5,6,7line will be built up.
