A chimpanzee’s new baby in Ji’nan Zoo was born and unveiled to Ji’nan people on April 24th . Reporter learns that this is the first successful breeding of the chimpanzee since the building of Ji’nan Zoo and so is Ji’nan.
“I hold them in my arms when they were babies but they are holding their own babies in a twinkling of an eye”, Zhang Jie , the baby animal –care worker tells it with love in her eyes when she sees Laoda, the mother chimpanzee carrying her baby in the chimpanzee hall.
