The early warning for earthquake can be achieved in Ji’nan in 2022.

　　When does Ji’nan hold the capability of earthquake warning? Ji’nan is now positively promoting Ji’nan area construction task of the national earthquake early warning project in which 3 base stations, 11 basic stations, 71 ordinary stations and 28 early warning demonstration schools and a municipal warning information center will be built up with high standards, according to the introduction of the staff in Ji’nan Earthquake Monitoring Center. Besides, the early warning terminal construction scheme is also planned. The civil engineering transformation of the 3 base stations will be completed and the supporting network of municipal early warning center will be upgraded this year. The installation and debugging of early warning equipment for initial formation of seismic intensity quick report will be completed in 2020 . Two years later in 2022, the whole construction will be fully completed and put into use to realize seismic intensity quick report of Ji’nan area and to issue warning information and produce the post-earthquakeemergency products.
