The property owner who blocks prescriptive lift installation in old residence will be fined.

　　Measures on Lift Installation in the Existing Residence ( Measures following) has been officially issued, regulating process management and clearing the measure to install the lift. Anyone who blocks and breaks life installation and violates the Law of the People’s Republic of China on Public Security Administration and Punishment will be fined by public security agency in accordance with the law.

　　Measures regulates that only one lift can be installed in one building in accordance with building safety, fire distance and safety evacuation and the previous building structure will not be changed. Besides, the lift appearance and material should coordinate with the building’s previous style.
