The overall planning of Ji’nan Yaoqiang International Airport (2019 )was approved by Civil Aviation Administration of China on August 27th this year after which 4 runways, 3 terminals and the integrated traffic system connecting urban railways and trains and highways will be included in it.
Positioned as a regional hub and huge airport the new revised airport is planned to have a passenger throughput of 50 million , cargo throughput of 500,000 tons, 383,000 times of aircraft taking off and landing in 2030; the counterpart of 80 million, 1.5 million and 593,000 times in 2050.
