The Ji’nan-Laiwu high-speed railway project kicks off on the to-be-built Zhangqiu South Station , marking the realization of the first domestic urban high-speed railway .
The new-built Ji’nan-Laiwu high-speed railway located in the middle of Shandong starts from Ji’nan East Railway Station passing through Licheng District, Gaoxin District, Zhangqiu District, Laiwu District, Laiwu Gaoxin District , Gangcheng District and finally ends on Gangcheng Railway Station. 117.503 km in total in 6 stations including Ji’nan East, Ganggou, Zhangqiu South, Xueyue, Laiwu North and Gangcheng is designed to be 350km/h.
