Long Span Bridge across Xiaoqing River, Ji’nan-Qingdao Highway Expansion Project has Final Closure.

　　Recently, the left side of the long span bridge across Xiaoqing River, Ji’nan-Qingdao Highway expansion project has the final closure, marking the successful completion of the project’s main body. The large bridge over Xiaoqing River, the key node of the expansion project crosses Xiaoqing River and the main canal of south-to-north water diversion project from east to west. The bridge which is designed to be 90 meters long has been elongated to 1032 meters and transformed into the three-span prepressed concrete continuous box girder with variable section in a bid to cooperate with the navigation engineering on Xiaoqing River. The final closure which is completed 15 days ahead of the previous plan and the construction on the bridge surface and guard bars
