West extension of Liuchangshan Road opens to traffic temporarily through Baimashan tunnel and down through north section of Beijing-Shanghai High-speed engineering tunnel. Traffic can directly drive to Erhuan Road (West) from Yangguangxin Road.
This section , the bidirectional two lanes , known to open from 6:30 a.m.to 8:30 p.m. is limited to 30 km/h. It is only open to motor vehicles but not to non-motors or pedestrians. Site project manager says that according to the rule of “an unclosed day counts a day”, this section opens to traffic temporarily. This project designed to be bidirectional six lanes is adjusted to be bidirectional two lanes in correspondence with temporary opening.
