2023 Action Plan for High-quality Development of Civil Affairs Undertakings was unveiled in Shandong on March 7. Shandong will improve the basic pension system. 25,000 nursing beds will be added and 30,000 families of elderly people with special difficulties will be renovated. No less than 10,000 home nursing beds for the elderly will be added, too. Besides, more than 10,000 urban and rural community canteens for the elderly will be remodeled.
