The programme of building Jinan romote ECG network platform was officially launched in the Fifth People's hospital of Jinan on November.2, which will not only save costs for patients, but also improve the speed and level of medical treatments.

"Previously, because of the strong professional of ECG equipments, community health services can not carry out ECG treatment services. The building of remote ECG network platform will support primary care doctors to provide clinical diagnosis." , said Mi Kuanqing, who is director of the Fifth People's hospital of Jinan. As a pilot hospital, at present, this hospital has completed the internal pilot testing station for ECG network. The testing station not only enabled the online diagnostic ECG transmission within the hospital, but also equiped four community health services with ECG devices.
