Huaiyin Child Play Preparing for 10th China Art Festival

　　Recently, child musical drama, named Our Names, created by Youth Palace in Huaiyin District, passed the selection of Shandong Province. It has been preparing for the 10th China Art Festival on behalf of Shandong province and it is also the only selected child musical drama from the whole province.

　　During 10th-18th. November, Provincial Competition for New Created Social and Cultural Works was held in Jinan, the provincial capital. The competition, jointly organized by Organizing Committee of 10th China Art Festival, Provincial Propaganda Department and Provincial Department of Culture, held more than 120 preliminary competitions. There were more than 600 new created programmes from the whole province, 237 of which were chosen for promoting an organized performance, with more than 1800 actors and crew participating. Child musical drama, called Our Names, indenpendently created by Youth Palace in Huaiyin District, passed layers of competitions and finally standed out from so many programmes. It had been carefully preparing for the 10th China Art Festival Selection.

　　Child musical drama is a kind of stage drama, a combination of dances, songs and dialogues. This musical drama was jointly wrote and lyricized by Han Hongwei from Jinan No. 20th Middle School and Teacher Li Shaoqing from Youth Palace in Huaiyin District, composed by Li Shaoqing. Little actors in Our Names were chosen from various primary schools of Huaiyin District. This drama, describing a story happened on campus, reveals the teachers love for students and the students' help to each other in the harmonious society, publicizing the spirit of warmth help among people.
