63 Trademarks Win Fifth Jinan Famous Trademark
Today, Administration for Industry and Commerce announced that 63 trademarks of our city won Fifth Jinan Famous Trademark, which was assessed by the Municipal Trademark Review and Adjudication Board.
To enhance the building of innovation-oriented city and promote trademark strategy work, through forms of voluntary reporting, social publicity, qualification examination and physical tests, the Municipal Admisnistration for Industry and Commerce preliminarily examined 96 trademarks of trademark owners,strictly checked the quality of food and other special products. 33 trademarks were denied, because of tenure of use, or because of administrative penalty from relevant enforcement authority for quality problem, environmental pollution or other reasons.Judging from this year's application for trademarks, 89.1% of them are commodity trademarks and 10.9% are service trademarks; From industry distribution, the first industry, the second industy and the tertiary industry accounts for 4.7%, 76.5% and 18.8% respectively.
It is reported that the number of current registered trademarks of Jinan has reached 35,000, including 35 Well-known Trademark of China, 214 Shandong Famous Trademarks, 267 Jinan Famous Trademarks and 17 trademarks of geographical indications.
