Gifts, Feast, Entertainment, Tourism and Blessing are Main Products of 2012 Jinan New Year's Activities
Plan of 2012 Jinan New Year's Activities was announced today, fixing that these activities will be held between 1st, January and 6th, February in our city. The activities will focus on organizing festival activities of New Year's Day, Spring Festival and Lantern Festival, marketing five products including New Year Gifts, New Year Feast, New Year Entertainment, New Year Tourism and New Year Blessing, creating a strong atmosphere of blessing culture, Building Blessed Land Jinan.
During the New Year's Activities, our city will emphasis on marketing of New Year Gifts products with strong characteristics of Jinan, such as folk custom cultural items including paper cutting, dough modelling, cloth tiger, etc; Art work gifts including basalt, muyu stone, Taishan jade, Chinese knot, etc; Agricultural products including selenium-rich scallions, Bao celery , dehydrated fruits & vegetables, etc. The city will determine the fixed place for showing and selling. All towns and street offices will plan to host various kinds of rally for purchases for the Spring Festival, promoting New Year Gifts sales areas and counters in Large-scale shopping malls, supermarket and restaurants.
The city launched a series products of innovative New Year Feast, and strived to combine with green and environment protection conception. The city's star-rated hotels, restaurants, cuisine streets will deeply explore Blessing culture, Confucian culture, Shun culture, Spring culture，Folk Custom culture and rural culture, prepare a number of New Year feast, Spring Festival Dinners, family reunion dinners, wedding feast with different prices and different grades which are themed at New Year Celebration.
Focusing on New Year's Day, Spring Festival and Lantern Festival, our city will launch characteristic tourism festival, folk custom entertainment and cultural performance. On New Year's Day, there will be a variety of rich and colorful celebration activities which are themed at Bye Old Year & Hello New Year; For Spring Festival, our city will emphasis on holding 2012 Spring City Blessing Meeting For The New Year, with subject of Hospitality Shandong, Blessed Spring City; Happy Lantern Festival will be the subject of the Lantern Festival, and there will be Baotu Spring Festive Lantern Show, Zhangqiu Baimai Spring Lantern Show, Shanghe Yangko joint performance, all kinds of folk dress up & play activities, etc.
Integrating the resources of spring, folk custom, cuisine, skiing, hot spring and others, our city will arrange New Year Tourism products: Relying on the platform of Jinan One-day Tour Service Center, our city will build fine routes for Jinan One-day Tour including Spring City Walk Tour, Spring City Boat Tour, Skiing & Hot Spring Tour, Jinan Folk Custom Tour; Focusing on popularizing tour packages of Jinan Two-day Family Tour, our city will developing featured routes of Jinan Two-day Tour which are suitable for families; Our city will design and develop New Year Blessing fine routes with Jinan as the hub, including Jinan Metropolis Circle, Peninsula Urban Agglomeration, etc.
Around the center of Spring Festival Blessing, our city will also integrate and develop traditional Blessing Culture, launch New Year Blessing products, and develop a number of New Year Blessing products, such as Blessing Health, Blessing Longevity, Blessing Safety, Blessing Prosperity.
