After Jinan Municipal Drug Inspection Office was officially renamed to Jinan Municipal Food and Drug Inspection Office, the municipal government added more than 5.5 million yuan for the procurement of instruments and equipments. At the same time, Food and Drug Inspection Building with more than 0.1 billion yuan investment will be built in eastern Jinan.
Currently, Jinan Municipal Food and Drug Inspection Office has successfully passed the assessment of Provincial Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision on the inspection qualification of cartering foods, health products and cosmetics, it can test 263 testing parameters of products in 18 series. "In the restaurants, we can test from meat products, sauce braised meat products to disposable dinnerwares and drinking water. ", related expert of Jinan Municipal Food and Drug Inspection Office told reporter. At the same time, health products and cosmetics will also be inspected according to the national standards.
