Jinan Got 32 New Shandong Famous Brands
Today, the Provincial Famous Brand Strategy Promotion Committee announced the list of 2011 Shandong famous-brand products and services. In 2011, Jinan had 26 new famous-brand products and 6 new famous-brand services. Up to now, Jinan has had 172 Shandong famous-brand products and 40 famous-brand services.
After evaluating procedures of voluntary application by enterprises, recommentation by municipalities, application materials publicity, internet evaluation by experts, automatical evaluation by evaluation software, on-site evaluation, publicity of preselected list, and examination & approval by plenary meeting of the Provincial Famous Brand Strategy Promotion Committee, 718 products from 657 enterprises were confirmed to be 2011 Shandong Famous-brand Products. Among them, Jinan got 26 new famous-brand products. Those products are mainly distributed in the industries of electronics, machinery, chemicals, building materials, agricultural and animal husbandry, automobile, light industry, metallurgy, food and pharmaceutical.
In 2011, after strict examination measures of voluntary application by enterprises, preliminary examination by municipalities, expert group evaluation of relevant sectors, customer satisfaction surveys, oral defenses of the enterprises, on-site secret inquiries, and examination & approval of the Provincial Famous Brand Strategy Promotion Committee, and social publicity, 142 service items were confirmed to be 2011 Shandong Famous-brand Services. Among them, Jinan had 6 new famous-brand services, which mainly exist in transportation, modern logistics, wholesale and retail industries.
According to introducing, vigorously implementing famous brand strategy, cultivating a number of famous brand products which truly reflect the manufacturing level of Shandong, accelerating the formation of enterprise groups with strong international and domestic competitive power, are very important for improving product quality, promoting independent innovation of enterprises, encouraging new developing mode & structure, improving market competitiveness & regional economic competitiveness, and realizing overall objectives of building economy & culture strong province.
