National Engineering Technology Research Center of Jinan Raised up to 3

   It is learnt from the Municipal Science and Technology Bureau that the Ministry of Science and Technology recently released Project Approval Plan of 2011 National Engineering Research Center. There are 31 engineering research centers were approved in the whole country, and "National Information Storage System Engineering Technology Research Center" applied by Inspur Group of our city was successfully approved. Up to now, our city has had three national engineering technology research centers.

   National engineering research center is an important part of the national technology innovation platform. At present, there are only 214 national engineering technology research centers throughout the country. And 17 of them are in the field of information and communication, only 5 of which are supporting by enterprises. It is known that the National Information Storage System Engineering Technology Research Center will invest no less than 86 million yuan construction funds within 3 years and strive to build first-class international engineering research platform.
