Salt Reserves of Jinan Increased to 10,000 Tons

　　Learned from the Municipal Salt Bureau, according to the principle that salt reserves shall not be less than the ammount of daily supply in 3 months, urban governments salt reserves of our city increased to 6,000 tons from 2,300 tons this month, total salt reserves of our city raised to 10,000tons.

　　It it known that salt consumption of the urban areas has been increasing at the rate of 10%. Total salt sales of our city was 64,000 tons in 2011, including 26,000 tons of small package salt. It is expected that our city's salt sales in this year may reach 70,000 tons, including 28,000 tons of small package salt. To ensure the salt supply, salt reserves of our city will be increased to 10,000 tons from this month, which can meet daily supply in 52 days. Among them, urban governments reserve 6,000 tons of salt(4,000 tons of packages below 1kg, 2,000 tons of big packages), Zhangqiu Government reserves 1350 tons of salt with packages below 1kg, Pingyin County government reserves 450 tons of salt with packages below 1kg, Jiyang County government reserves 700 tons of salt with packages below 1kg, Shanghe County government reserves 700 tons of salt with packages below 1kg, Changqing District government reserves 800 tons of salt with packages below 1kg.(Web Editor：Zhang Xiaomei)
