Southern Mountain Area Afforestation Project to Start
Today， reporter learnt from the interview that the task of afforestation project in Southern Mountain Area of Licheng District is 22,000 Mu this year, this project has already been started.
Related official told reporter that this year's afforestation project task in Southern Mountain Area was divided into 7 project areas, and they signed "Afforestation Project Contract of Southern Mountain Area in Licheng District" with 14 construction teams. At the same time, construction units are required to report project progress each week, and they will try to finish soil preparation work before end of June. The afforestation task is expected to completed before end of August according to rainy season.
Comparing with last year, the afforestation project in Southern Mountain Area has two significant changes: First, quality requirments are more strict than that of previous years, construction units whose inspection scores are below 90 will get their charges according to the municipal rules, the district government won't give subsidies; Second, construction units will receive rectifying notice, if their projects are found that the quality is not qualified in the inspection of the District Forestry Bureau, at the same time, the construction units will be deducted 2 scores for each rectifying notice.(Web Editor：Zhang Xiaomei)
