Jinan to Accomplish Sewage Interception Scheme for 24 Riverways

At present, 90% of the 2nd stage project in comprehensive improvement Scheme has been completed, 1.932 million square meters of river landscape plants have been planted, which brings 31 kilometers ecological landscape riverway and 23 kilometers of water tourism riverway from Jingfu highway to Hongyuan control gate. Next, our city will strive to accomplish the sewage interception scheme for 24 riverways including Daxin River, Xingji River and Old Bali Bridge by the end of next march, basically solve environmental problems of sewage straight row in urban built-up areas until the end of 2013, and thoroughly eliminate polluted waters in key polluted rivers both under the control of the province and the city by the end of 2015.
