Jinan to Build Aquatic Ecological Civilized City with 50 Billion Yuan

Jinan will invest nearly 50 billion yuan to build the city to be national aquatic ecological city. To achieve this goal, Jinan released Exposure Draft for Building Jinan(Central City Area) to Aquatic Ecological Civilized City. The main content of the Planning is that water resources can reach sustainable utilization, water ecosystem is kept integrated and graceful water ecological environment can be built. One core, three zones, six galleries and nine points compose the spatial structure of water system in the city:"One Core" refers to the old urban area which is centered on springs;"Three Zones" conclude southern ecological preservation area, urban spring landscape area and northern field scenic area; "Six Galleries" consist of Beidasha River Gallery, Yufu River Gallery, Xingji River Gallery, Daxin River Gallery, Hancang River Gallery and Xijuye River Gallery; "Nine Points" are nice water surfaces including four main water reservoirs and 5 key lakes.
