Mr. Sun Shougang Meets with Delegation of Foreign Envoys

　　Over 30 envoys of foreign countries and international organizations visited Shandong as the

　　first stop of "Foreign Envoys Visit China" series activity, which is organized by State Council

　　Information Office and State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission. On the

　　afternoon of December 1st 2012, Mr. Sun Shougang, member of the Standing Committee of CPC Shandong

　　Provincial Committee and Director-General of Publicity Department met with the delegation

　　in Jinan.

　　After introducing the economic and social development status of Shandong, Mr. Sun Shougang

　　said that people of Shandong are learning and implementing the spirit of 18th Party Congress,

　　making Shandong a province strong in terms of culture and trying to realize the goal of

　　building a well-off society in an all-round way at an earlier date. Foreign diplomats are

　　envoys of friendship who could boost mutual understanding among people of different countries.

　　The current visit will make Shandong better understood, promote communication and cooperation

　　between Shandong and foreign countries and realize common progress and development.

　　Under the activity theme of "Visiting Large Stateowned Enterprises, Experiencing

　　Scientific Development", the delegation also visited state-owned enterprises in Jinan,

　　Qingdao, Zibo and Jining to see how China transforms development pattern and accelerates

　　restructuring.
