Jinan to Build 21 Parks This Year
Jinan Municipal Mobilization Meeting for Building Ecological Garden City was held on March 16. This year's urban greening work should aim for building Ecological Garden City, strictly follow our rules in urban greening, enlarge the total area of green landscapes, improve the quality of green landscapes, perfect the function of green landscapes, and take the first step to success in building Ecological Garden City.
To speed up the construction of greening areas in the new urban areas, build beautiful ecological landscapes, carry out different greening projects in Binhe New Area, Western New City and Eastern New Area.
To improve the quality of greening areas in the old urban areas, highlight the characteristics of the spring city. Great effort should be taken to expand the area of green landscape, key projects should also be carried out elaborately.
To concentrate on basic work of urban greening, enhance the environmental carrying capacity of Jinan. The green landscape of 44 roads will be improved, the green spaces along Xingji River and Yuxiu River would also be improved, 21 parks in various kinds would be built this year.
