Spring Water Festival to Promote Urban Civilization

　　Holding Spring Water Festival is an attempt to explore deeper spring water resources and realize its largest value. Some experts hold the opinion that Spring Water Festival should focus on improving the ecological environment, displaying the historical and humanistic spirit of Jinan.

　　Jiang Sandeng, expert from the Municipal Institute of Landscape Architecture, said that the spring water resources in Jinan is a kind of environmental resource, which is irreplaceable in improving climatic environment, cleaning dust environment and improving hygienic conditions.

　　Professor Wang Degang, from Shandong University, hold that organizing Spring Water Festival would promote mass consumption. It is the festival of the civilians, as well as a carrier for spreading local culture. Spring culture in Jinan is the only one of its kind in the world. At present, we have only explored the historical gifts of spring culture and spring water resources. If we hold Spring Water Festival this year, deeper resources of spring water will be stimulated, and the largest value of springs will be realized.
