Old Buildings on North Square of Jinan Railway Station to be rebuilt

　　The old railway station in Jinan was a typical German architecture, designed by a famous architect in the late 19th and early 20th century. It was the biggest railway station at that time.

　　The old railway station will be rebuilt on the north square of Jinan railway station. Jia Yuliang, director of Jinan Municipal Planning Bureau said that the rebuilt project would try to keep its original style and features. The whole set buildings of the old railway station including the bell tower, waiting room, ticket lobby would be reconstructed, it was going to be connected with Jinan railway station and functioning as the north exit of the whole railway station.

　　The rebuilt project is to protect historical and cultural heritage, and it is also designed to relief the traffic pressure near Jinan railway station.
