Jinan starts conscription health checkup work on August 1st
It is leant from the headquarters of Jinan Garrison Command that the conscription health checkup work would be in full swing from August 1st. Adjustments were made in this year's conscription work in age limit, basic physical condition and related preferential policy, which would benefit the youths who want to be recruited.
The age limit has been relaxed: Young men should be at the age of 18 to 20; The age limit is 21 for high school graduates, 22 for high school students, 23 for advanced vocational school (junior college) graduates, 24 for university graduate or above. Young women should be at the age of 18 to 19; The age limit is 20 for high school students, 22 for high school students. High school graduates who are at age of 17 can also apply to join the army. Besides, the height limit and body weight limit are also relaxed this year: Male applicants should be 160cm or above in height, and female applicants should be 158cm or above in height.
