Regulatory plan for 12 districts in Jinan central area released

On May 5th, Jinan Urban Planning Bureau publicized the regulatory plan for 12 districts, including Longdong, Jiuqu, Western Station, Northern Lake, Yaoshan Mountain, Huangtai, Queshan Mountain, Xueshan Mountain, South Huashan Mountain, Hanyu, Xianwen and Zhangjin, started the consultation from all sectors of society.

New version of Jinan central area regulatory plan conducted preliminary research in the year of 2013 and 2014, about 600-square kilometers central area is divided into 53 districts. At present, the regulatory plan for 53 districts has been entirely started, 36 districts have finished preliminary program, including Gucheng, Shuangjing, Shangbu; 4 districts have accomplished present situation investigation, including Qixian, Wangguan Zhuang. The regulatory plan achievements for 42 districts(about 80% of the total volume of the city) to be examined and approved within the year, realizing basic coverage of the main developing areas of the central area. It is planned to be declared in 3 batches, the first batch of 17 districts is planned to be accomplished in June; The second batch of 16 districts is to be finished in September; The third batch of 9 districts may be completed before the end of the year.
