Examinees for college entrance exam reduced nearly by half in Jinan

2015 spring season college entrance examination is to be held on May 9th and 10th, 130 thousand examinees in Shandong Province is going to take part in this examination. The reporter learned from the education department that there would be 16,198 examinees in Jinan, which is reduced nearly by half year on year.

This weekend, 130 thousand examinees in Shandong Province will attend 2015 spring season college entrance examination, the number of examinees in Shandong Province sees an increase of over 30% again, following the rise of 60% in last year.

Although the number of examinees for spring season college entrance examination in Shandong Province has been growing, the quantity of examinees in Jinan dropped sharply for the first time which was 28,830 last year, while 16,198 this year, the reduction is nearly 50%. It is related to the cancellation of preppy in part of the private colleges and vocational colleges.
