Extension of Jinan-Qingdao Highway to be started in December

　　On May 26th, the reporter learned from the transportation departments of Jinan that the social stability risk survey information of Jinan-Qingdao Highway extension project had been officially released, the construction period would last for 42 months from December, 2015 to June, 2019. The route of the project was firstly exposed, 8 towns in Jinan were involved.

　　The information of Jinan-Qingdao Highway Northern Line to be extended had been brewing for a long time. According to the plan, the extension project starts from Qingdao Xinzhuxian Toll Station and ends at Jinan Lingdian Flyover. The line is 309.172km in length, goes over five cities of Middle Shandong, including Qingdao, Weifang, Zibo, Binzhou and Jinan. The planned speed for the whole line is 120km/h, it is expanded according to the technical standard of eight-traffic-lanes expressway, the width of the roadbed is 42m, and the total investment for the project is 2.81 billion yuan.
