Core protection ranges of Jinan’s two blocks confirmed for first time

　　According to planning, core protection range for Furong Jie-BaihuaZhou Block: south to Furong Xiang, north to the border on south side of Daming Lake, east to Zhenchi Street, west to Gongyuan Qianggen Street, covering an area of 8.5 hectares. The core protection range mainly includes Fuxue Confucian Temple, two sides of Furong Jie, two sides of Jinju Xiang, surroundings of Wangfu Pond and south side of Houzaimen Street. Core protection range for General Temple: south to south wall of No.49 Bianzhi Xiang, north to north w;?all of No.4 Shoufolou Back Street, east to east border of Bianzhi Xiang, west to west border of Taipingsi Street and Xichenggen Street, covering an area of 7.23 hectares.

　　Any newly built or expanded project is not allowed in the core protection range, except infrastructure and public service facilities. Reconstruction work to the existing building should maintain or recover its historical style and features.
