8.4 million: the total population of Ji’nan in 2020.

　　The Overall Planning of Ji’nan City (2011-2020)(the public version)has been issued on August 28th . Ji’nan will be built as the important regional economic , financial ,logistics and science innovation center ,the famous historical and cultural city , the south center city of Bohai Rim Region . The total population of the whole city will be 8.4 million in 2020 when the urban population will be 6.7 million, the urbanization level reaching 75%; the total population of the center city will be 4.3 million and the construction land area of the center city will reach 410 sq.km, the per capital construction land area reaching 95 sq.m. .
