Ji’nan : the first national ecological civilization city.

　　Ji’nan, full of springs but the per capita share of water resources is only 290 m³, less than 1/7 nationwide, so it is the typical water-lack city.

　　In order to improve this “disadvantage”, Ji’nan has optimized the water resource allocation with a series of river-lake water system connecting engineering ,such as the connecting of five reservoirs , water diversion from Yuqing Lake, water transfer from Yufu River and Wohu Shan Reservoir . Now the water diversion capacity in one year has reached 300 million cubic meters, co-connecting the Yangtze River, the Yellow River, the ground surface water , the underground water and many unconventional waters, reforming the new water allocation pattern.
