　　Recently the first batch of 127 Chinese characteristic towns have been issued by Housing and Construction Ministry . Seven towns in Shandong are included in them.

　　They are Lige Zhuang Town, Qingdao; Kunlun Town, Zibo; Liujia Gou Town, Yantai; Yangkou Town, Weifang; Xi Zhangzhuang Town, Tai’an; Gushan Town, Weihai; Tan Yi Town, Linyi. According to the planning, 100 characteristic town in Shandong will be established by 2020.
