Zhangqiu, now is not the county-level city but one district of Ji’nan

　　This afternoon the 56th press conference of Ji’nan government is held in Long’ao Building, issuing the news that Zhangqiu, once the county-level of Ji’nan ,now is one district of Ji’nan, after the official reply of Shandong government. Now Zhangqiu is not the county-level city but Zhangqiu District. After this official change, the administration of Zhangqiu now is Vice-Ting level, the higher administration level in China. The area of the urban Ji’nan now has been extended from 3,303sq.km.to 5,022 sq.km and the population of permanent residents has been expanded from 4.5816 million to 5.6749 million.
