The first snow after “Spring Begins” visited Ji’nan yesterday.

After 22 days without snow and rain from last snowy and rainy weather from January 28th to 29th the first snow visits Ji’nan on February 21st , easing the recent drought. On the same day the first blizzard yellow warning and the icy road warning of 2017 is issued by Ji’nan Metrological Bureau and the cold blue warning signal is also issued till now.

Reporter learns from Ji’nan Metrological Bureau that till 23：00 21st the precipitation of the urban area reaches 5.2mm, Pingyin,4.8mm, Changqing 5.2mm, Zhangqiu ,4.8mm , Jiyang, 4.4mm, Shanghe, 4.9mm. According to the precipitation standard of 3-5.9 mm within 12 hours , heavy snow falls commonly in Ji’nan.
