Testing section of the world’s first highway photovoltaic pavement opens to the traffic.

　　On December 28th afternoon the testing section of the world’s first highway photovoltaic pavement invested and built by Qilu Transportation Development Group opens to the traffic officially , another breakthrough on pv pavement coming after the national’s first photovoltaic demonstration area was unveiled on September 29th .

　　The testing section located on Ji’nan south belt highway is 1120 meters on which 1080 meters, 5875 sq.m. of pv pavement are paved. The peak power capacity of distributed grid power generation capacity is 817.2kw. It is expected to generate 1 million kilowatt-hours of electricity per year with net mode and grid to generate electricity.
