Sea temperature increasing makes Ji’nan “have a fever”.
The orange warning signal for high temperature in Ji’nan decreased to yellow on August 8th afternoon and it is forecasted to rain in the following 3 days but temperature is still above 35℃. Recently north China has continuous high temperature, rare to see at the same time in previous years. Meteorologists suggest that it is caused by the increasing of sea temperature.
Since January this year there has been temprature data showing above 0℃ on the Yellow River Station on Savard Island in the arctic region , 10 ℃ higher than the average in previous years. The incrasing temperature trend in the arctic region became more obvious since March this year and continued to summer, weakening the activity of the cold air. That is the main cause of the high temperature across much of the northern hemisphere.
