Daming Lake

Situated in Downtown of Jinan, Daming Lake is one of the three most famous scenic spots in Jinan. It is a natural lake which is the confluence of many springs in Jinan.Spring water afflux from south shore, and effuse from north floodgate on north shore which is built in Bei Song when it is full. characteristically unique is its constant water level, unaffected by heavy rains or drought. Around the lake are 800 weeping willows and over 40mu lotuses, which form a graceful view of “a city surrounded by lovely lotuses and weeping willows; a city embraced by picturesque mountains and enchanting lakes”.
