Shandong invests 110 million yuan to cultivate application-oriented talents

　　It is learnt from Shandong Provincial Education Department that the provincial government budgets is going to invest 110 million yuan to support the development of 24 majors which can cultivate application-oriented talents in regular undergraduate universities, including mechanical engineering major in Jinan University, the construction grant for each major is 3 million yuan.

　　Shandong will also support 19 characteristic majors in 8 private undergraduate universities, each of the major will receive 2 million yuan as the construction grant. The grant will be used to comprehensively improve the university running experience and the quality of application-oriented talents cultivation in our province.
