1st cross-border trade e-commerce completed its export tax refund
Under the approval of the State Administration of Taxation (SAT) Qingdao Municipal Office, the SAT Qingdao Laoshan Provincial Office approved a tax refund issued to Qingdao Bosiwei International Trading Limited, which exports goods through cross-border e-commerce. The completion of the tax refund declaration means that the experimental cross-border e-commerce system has been successful in Qingdao.
The export tax refund is key to promoting the experimental system. In order to ensure that the tax refund met standards set by policy, the relevant departments had to confirm the required materials and documents.
As a new kind of trade mode with lower threshold and costs, fewer procedures and a shorter transport time, cross-border e-commerce uses the Internet and international logistics to directly link terminals and satisfy customers. Qingdao was given permission to start the experimentof cross-border e-commerce retail export service on Jan. 27, 2014, and the cross-border e-commerce clearance service was officially launched on June 30. Goods valued at a total of US$510,000 dollars and with a total weight of 1,980 kg have been examined as of Sept. 10.
