China Association for Science and Technology delegation visit Qingdao

　　China Association for Science and Technology sent a delegation headed by Deng Nan, former secretary of party leader of the association, for a visit to the coastal city of Qingdao, Shandong province. On Dec 9 the delegation had a chance to get a look at some local enterprises and talk with Yan Rongzhu, vice-chairman of the Shandong Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), and with the company of Wang Shujian, chairman of the Qingdao Municipal Committee of the CPPCC.

　　Yan extended warm welcome and sincere thanks to the delegation for their support for Shandong's development in recent years. He said he hopes the delegation will provide more suggestions on the economic and social development of Qingdao during this visit.

　　The delegation had an investigatory tour in Qingdao Bright Moon Seaweed Group and Qingdao Haixi Heavy-Duty Machinery Co on Dec 10.
