T-shaped water network to run through Shandong

　　The reporter learnt from Shandong Provincial Water Conservancy Bureau that the construction of Jiaodong Water Transfer Project Yantai segment is to be started recently, which will diverting 30 million cubic meters water from Huanghe River from April 1st. It means that Jiaodong Water Transfer Project is to be cut through, and compose T-shaped water network with South-to-North Water Diversion Project in Shandong, and realize combined dispatching and optimal allocation of Changjiang Water, Huanghe Water and local water resources.

　　Jiaodong Water Transfer Project will satisfy the needs of domestic water, it will also strengthen ecological management and protection of the water system, build up ecological water system with clear water, green shoreside and beautiful view, completely improve the ecological environment, realize harmonious coexistence of water and human.
